Have a peaceful day

Ayodhya verdict:

The Supreme Court today began crucial hearing on a plea seeking deferment of the Allahabad High Court verdict on the Ramjanambhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute.

For me it is the common annocument /judgment by Supreme Court like other judgments.

From morning all my well wishers (my parents, roommates, Deepthi, Deepika) were asking me to leave early from office.

I don't know what was wrong with the people and why they were worrying more about it .

I hope the judgment will be neutral. And pray for a peaceful country.

God will listen to me. He might be RAM or ALLAH (Both are same)

Caught by Traffic Cop

In Hyderabad, there will be regular checking by traffic police and the defaulter’s challaned for Traffic Violations. Auto driver (I usually travel by Auto) will pay fine RS 100-150 who don't have License and Vehicle paper.

It happened last Saturday while returning from Dev’s treat(He got job In Oracle and he is shifting to Bangalore). We went to restaurant on three bikes (total 9 ,3 persons per bike he he he). I, Deepthi and Susheela on Susheela’ s bike (Hero Honda Activa).

After lunch our tummies were full and Dev’s pocket was nil. We (Deepthi, Susheela and me) started in one bike and George & Madhav on another. I thought of getting down at the Kothaguda junction. When we are near (30-40 feet away) to the Kothaguda signal point .Suddenly a traffic police man caught us in the middle of the road.

Traffic police: “Hye, Stop stop!! Come and Park this side
Susheela: “We are coming?”
They are few more traffic police men were checking some bike and car riders.

We stared discussing what to do?
Susheela asked me to say " Hye, Sandhya. Tell him that you are not feeling well and we are taking you to hospital."
I know it is silly trick/reason played by everyone. I am just smiling.
Susheela: (Seriously n slowly) “Don’t laugh. Act like you were sick"

Traffic Police: “Why are going triples? Show me your vehicle papers?”
Susheela: “Now, I don't have any? There are at my home
Traffic Police: “Pay Rs 500 fine. For travelling triples on a bike and not carrying any papers.”
Deepthi: “We have only Rs 300 with us?”
Traffic Police: “I have no issues, but my SIR (head) saw you people. I can't help.”

He left us and went to his SIR and discussed something
I called George and Madhav who are coming on bike (few meters away from us). So that they can convince the Policeman.

The traffic police man came back to us
Traffic Police: “At least du you have Driving Licence?”
Susheela: “Yes Sir :-)”
Traffic Police: “Ok then, you people can go. Don’t drive triples. There are cameras which capture your photos at traffic signals.” (Advice)
We are not charged any fine.

We started (Me in auto and Susheela & Deepthi on bike with smiling faces)
I thought "What a nice Police man!!"
George messaged me saying “It is partiality. The same policeman charged Rs 300 form the people (men) who are travelling triples”.

Trip To Kuntala Waterfalls

Last Sunday we (Nirmaan members) went on a trip (Kuntala Waterfalls) in a troop of 21 people.
Already late in the night and with plans of leaving next day- left packing for later. Saturday passed away with only thoughts of the trip lingering my mind. I went to “Shilparamam” and brought a new dress (long skirt and top). By the time I reached hostel and after dinner- sleepiness crept in, wake up early (3 AM).

4:15: I am in bus
6:00: Hit NH7 - the sun was rising and it was start of a fresh morning love affair with the roads. Passing through lovely scenery comprising of fields on both sides of the road.

The water was cold, really cold.... my stupid antics- thought to experience the chilly surroundings and went into the water and started playing like kid.

It was one of the best trip of my life.

Thanks to all my friends who made my trip memorable.
Anyways enjoy the larger sized memories HERE

SriRam Sagar Project (the gates are open for us :-)) :

Pochera waterfalls (awesome.. We played for good amount of time)

Kuntala waterfalls (you will still long to see it in spite of covering from many angles.. that's its beauty :-)) :

THOUGHTFUL EXCURSION IN A RAIL...

Last week I went to Vizag for Vinayaka Chavithi. I have three days holidays, three month before only my frnd Bhargav booked my ticket to start my voyage to my dream land, my jannat: my home. I don’t understand what makes people to travel a lot between Hyderabad – Vizag route and makes it unavailable in all the time of the year.

One day before only I have packed my Luggage (one back bag, one travel bag and all my birthday gifts. I was stuck with lot of work. I have informed my Team Lead that my train is by 7:30. Actually it is at 8:15 :-) so that I can leave early.

5:15: I took leave from my TL
5:45: I reached my room
6:10: I am out from hostel

By the time I reached the main road. It was fully blocked with plp, their luggage and vehicles. I requested the girls (who are also waiting for an auto to station) “Can I share auto with you?"

6:30: We got into an Auto
He charged Rs 220. In normal days it is Rs 120.
6:50: We are below the Begumpet flyover
7:20: We are still at same place (due to traffic jam)
Mean while I got calls my Dad, Bhargav, Deepthi, and Radika.
8:00: I am at station
The police didn’t allow the Auto guy to stop before the station gate (To avoid traffic jam)
8:05: I am in Secunderabad Railway station.

The screen displays my train 2740/VSKP GARIB RATH on 9th platform
I cursed myself (luggage), stupid traffic, train driver while walking from 1st to 9th platform. I got calls from my Mom, my sister, my Dad, Bhargav, Deepthi.

8:12: I am in my coach.G14
My mobile showed me 8 missed calls. Deepthi called me and asked “Where are you? Wat is ur coach number and breath number? I am in 9th platform at G7.I got Tiffin for you.” Actually she has train at 8:50.

8:15: My train started
I was tried and in very irritation mood bcoz of my co passenger (villain face 25+ age guy) behavior who asked me stupid questions “Where are you going? Are u alone? What are you doing? Where is your house?

Deepthi called me and told “I gave your Tiffin packet and water bottle to some passenger (stranger) in G10.I told your name, coach no and breath no. He will give you”. The signal got cut. I wonder how she can ask an unknown person to give Tiffin to me and. why she is more concern about my dinner. I felt very happy and lucky to have frnd like her.

8:45: I heard some one enquiring my name “Sandhyarani”
I collected my Tiffin packet and water bottle and thanked him a lot. The packet contains Puri with coconut chutney Deepthi know that I like Puri. I called her back.
Thank God for giving me caring frnds :-) :-)

Am I a $hopaholic???

If someone had kept a track of my ‘outrageous shopping sprees’ and ‘unreasonably extravagant squandering of money’ {words quoted by Mom}, he/she would wonder if I was trying to compete with some model wardrobe. Now how can I make people understand that these are the basic necessities of a girl living alone in an unknown city hundreds of miles away from home … {dramatized sighh}.

A box full of earrings is the minimum requirement for round face and a shelf full of sandal for a long banana feet like yours truly who slips like a chesses in a burger {ummm … never mind the example}.

And how can one possibly survive without a proper count of leggings, especially when the rate and method of washing by me comes under a section called DON’Ts.

They suffer from a variety of life-threatening diseases like the notorious Rainbow syndrome – a phenomenon when the Kurtis decide to exchange color with salwars leading to dispersal of 16 million colors across 2 meters of cloth.

And when one is subjected to uncountable beautifully lined shops of Fancy items in Central or :D the adorable dresses sold by adorable guys in Ameerpet Market or :P the fashionable kurtis welcoming in glass shelves outside Pantaloons or colorful ballerinas and bubble tops daring you to buy them in Abids market … how can one be stone hearted enough to walk away without a second glance. Knees go weak … violins starts playing … and tiny multicolored butterflies start fluttering by whenever I see these heavenly creations made by humans…

My debit card (I don’t have credit card, to control shopping) has this tendency to automatically pop out as soon as I step into market zone. Maybe the companies should chart new schemes for on-the-way-to-being-a-shopaholic customers.
