in everything I do
Year 2010
I have the same wish list which I have in my mind in the beginning of this year (2010) - none of it was happened (I have to add so more to the list)
Good things are that :
My frnds list got updated. (Radhika, Madhav, Phani, Rajeev)
With all these up and downs I have learnt to smile, to love, to trust, to share, to give, to pray, to protect, to forgive, to live in the moment and to live to the best and have fun and not to give up.
Until then stay tune

‘Guzaarish’ - Magical movie
The Screen play is the backbone for the movie. Every piece of music echoes the film’s incandescent soul.
The Story deals with sensitive points like Tetraplegia (Spiral cord injury) , Euthanasia (mercy killing).and unconditional love..
It proved that Indian movies are still alive, .but the only thing bad about the film was the costumes and background…it didn’t feel Indian
It's worth watching
I go Colorful
After reading my post .The irritating voice in my head: "What happen to you Sandhya?".
I promise I won't repeat it again.
For amend, I have changed my blog template.
My previous blog template looked little dull, I know!!! It took me so long to change to a new one. This time I preferred to go Colorful! How is it?

^ Nightmare in me
From so many months, nothing is happening well with me. I have everything with enough problems. I will not say that i have all cinema kastalu (problems). Loving family, caring frnds, job and Bhargava who loves me more than anyone else. All these are my strengths and weakness.
I came into this city with new hopes and dreams. That was the first time I was away from my family, frnds n city. I was alone. I made myself busy with work n frnds. I taught myself to be happy. Even after 3 yrs nothing has been changed in my life (personal n career).
I don’t want to lead a boring life. I’m an eternal optimist. Hope and faith rules my world
For me “Life is Beautiful". I just want to add colors to it, so that I it will be more Beautiful.
That would be it for today!

Got No Promotion
3yrs industry in IT Field.
But I am not happy bcoz I didn’t have Promotion this time. Those who all joined in 2007 got auto promotion in this Cycle. Due to my pervious manger rating I got 3rd bucket (Out of 5, first bucket is excellent performance). Even though I worked hard and performed well, I didn’t meet above his expectations. Last year by the time of my second appraisal I was released from my first project, bcoz I asked to make me billable.
Last few weeks were really tough to live, there were times and still I have moments when I become dishearten and feel so low to leave all hopes.
Fact is that, I hate my experience in my previous project but not my company. I started my career here. I still remember the day I step into the company. Three years in this corporate world I learned so many things.
Then I understood when I am broken I don't have to sit in dark but help myself by letting the light pass through me, the light of joy, patience, faithfulness, gentleness and self control.
Now, I am back and says “Aal Izz Well”

I Met Confidence
Coming to Dileep:
In 1997 he met with an accident in Delhi and got spinal cord injury. He had done so many exercises and been to many treatments. Now he is able to perform all regular activities and is working for some company (Part Time). He established one organization called “The Ability People” and motivates the people and helps in curing the problem especially Spinal Cord Injuries.
Though he is 40+ yrs old he looks like 30 yrs only due to his confident level. He had a very good relation with the doctors in Visakhapatnam and he has promised us to help KotiReddy in all ways.We spent 2 hrs with him and discussed about the treatment I am very much impressed with his service to the people like him. He gave assurance about our frnd health. We just want our frnd to recovery soon.
I felt very glad to meet such a person.

Call from Vamshi
Morning, I got a call from Vamshi (colony frnd).
By the time I answered his call, he started scolding me (mental, waste fellow, don't you have sense, Are you Alive blah blah...) for more than 2 - 3 mins.
Actually, it has been long time we spoken in phone. Today he called me, so he got a chance to scold me. Every time it happens with us.
I just smiled for everything. Again he started saying "shameless"
After few seconds he said" How are you girl? I just saw your newly uploaded pics in ORKUT"
We continued the conservation for another 20mins. At last we planned to meet on this Saturday.
It has been so many days I met those two IDIOTS who I know from past 6 yrs.
To know about those Two Idiots (Vamshi and Sati)

DAY 4: @ Bangalore
We went to Radhika house. The rest of the day till 5:00 pm was spent shopping with Radhika. Quite the experience in bargaining. I brought four Cotton dress and two Kutis.
All in all it was an outstanding trip that I am very happy to have had the opportunity to see the Dasara festival in Mysore. Many thanks are due to Radhika for making my trip most memorable, my parents and Bhargava for letting me go and the Radhika Uncle’s family for taking awesome care of me and hospitality. The trip has been amazing 'cause I got to know many people. The whole experience is so wonderful and refreshing.

DAY 3: @ Mysore
Nanjangud -
It is located at a distance of 23kms from Mysore. Here we visited the Nanjundeshwara temple of Lord Shiva.
On the way to Mysore ,tour contuined with a brief visit to the Sri Ganapati Sachchidananda Ahrama. It was quite boring.
Jayachamarajendra Zoological Garden -
After our lunch we visited Mysore Zoo. One should visit this place in Mysore. Main attractions are the white tiger, giraffe, zebra, different species of birds etc. I have captured max number of pics. Now my Camera battery showed 2 points. The park is around 5 kms and it taken one and half hr to cover.
400th Jambu Sawari procession -
This is the main reason for my visit to Mysore. We were late. By the time we reached the street where the procession take place was fully crowded. While some perched atop the roadside trees, some on terrace, others were standing on the Vehicles which are parked road side. We too tried to get into a lorry but all of them were full. I was very much disappointed. Fortunately, a jeep driver came along with her wife to watch to the procession. We requested him and climbed up on the top of the Jeep. It started raining (7-8 mins).
There was huge screaming and whistling once the Balarama (53-year-old elephant) appeared. The 750 kg golden 'howdah' (ornate carriage) with the idol of Hindu goddess Chamundeshwari was mounted on it. Balarama was accompanied by 11 other elephants and followed by horses, camels, cultural troupes. It was an awesome view and I can’t express my happiness and really enjoyed watching the traditional Jambu Sawari procession.
We thanked the Jeep driver and back to our Sumo with smiling faces. It has taken more than 30 mins to come out of the crowd and traffic.
Mysore palace -
We reached Mysore palace at 5:45 pm. Hundreds of Tourist and locals were there to see the lighting of Amba Vilas Palace. We waited patiently until 7 PM to watch the tremendous view of Palace with lights. The magnanimity and grandeur of the palace is absolutely breathtaking. I captured only two snaps of it due to low battery.
Mysore Exhibition -
We went to Dasara exhibition which is held in the exhibition grounds opposite to the Mysore
Palace. There were various stalls which sell items like clothes, plastic items, kitchenware,
cosmetics and eatables. It is not so good. Within half an hour we return back to our vehicle.
Mattae Sigona Mysore (meet you again sometime)
Due to lack of time we couldn’t able to visit few famous places in Mysore like Chamundi Hills, Ranganthithu Bird Sanctuary,Shivanasamudra Falls and St. Philomena's Church. And not even take a look inside the palace.
But over all I really had very good experience and sweet memories which stay for life long.. I will definitely plan another trip to Mysore may be after 2 – 3 yrs. (Hope Bhargav read this line).
On the way to Bangalore we had our dinner (Jeera rice and Dal fry) at some hotel. We were tried fully and slept like kids on others shoulders and laps. We used to change our sitting position for every 15 mins. It was 12:30 by the time we reached our house.
I must sign off now.

DAY 2: My Visit to MYSORE
Melukote -
This place is located interior to the Bangalore - Mysore main road in the right side while going towards Mysore. We visited Sri Yoganarasimha Swamy temple which is located at the top of the hill.
Sri Cheluvanarayana Swamy temple -
It is located at the centre of Melukote. Before visiting Sri Cheluvanarayana Swamy temple, people can visit the Pancha Kalyani pond. Behind this temple, the sisters’ ponds (elder and younger sisters, Akka-Thangi kola) are located.
Raya Gopura –
The place where many films, especially Mani Ratnam’s have some scenes of this place (Barso Re Megha Megha, Movie : GURU).. An awesome place located at almost 3000 ft above sea level is located at almost end of the town and is situated close to Akka-Thangi kola. It is said that a Vijayanagara king took it as a challenge to complete the construction of the temple overnight; but he failed in doing so.
Srirangapatnam (13 kms from Mysore) -
The spot where Tipu Sultan was found dead after being killed in war during the siege of SrirangapatnamHere we visited Ranganathaswamy temple, which has the deity - Sri Ranganathar (Vishnu) in a sleeping posture.
I and JayaSree went on a horse ride for one round trip (only 3 mins) :’)
Brindavan Gardens -
In the evening around 7:30 we reached to the Brindavan Gardens in KRS Dam. Oh God! It seemed as if hundreds of people from Bangalore, Mysore and more had descended into the place. I couldnt imagine such a crowd . I guesss it was due to the Dasara. We watched the musical fountain – a short 15 min light and water show. The fountains were choreographed to latest hits and ended with a patriotic song
I slept like a log at night and woke up directly at 3.30 am the next day morning . I was woken up by the sound of Vani Shree alarm.

DAY 1 @ Bangalore
That morning I was fortunate enough to visit Radika Uncle's house. Uncle, aunty, JayaSree, VaniSree, Ajay (Cousins) and grand pap. All of them are very good. They managed to a lot to speak with me in Telugu (kannada mix).
We started our day visiting to ISKCON temple first. There was not much crowd. I love lord Krishna. It is a wonderful experience to be there and soak oneself in the devotion of Lord Krishna. One should go visit this temple.
We headed out a local market area called the Malleswaram market. I purchased cotton dresses for Deepthi, Santhi, and Sushma and for me also. I had a dosa at DOSA point which is very tasty. I loved it.
In the evening we headed for a more modern section of town. We visited to Garuda Mall. JayaSree joined us. Here, I brought clothes for Bhargav and for my sister.
In Bangalore the bus facility is very good. We brought one day bus pass and travelled whole day. We returned to our room and ended our first day visit to Bangalore with a smile. We had our dinner and went off to catch up sleep.

Trip to Bengalore
We, myself and my friend Radika (whose native is Andhra but her family settled in Bangalore from 40-45 years), had a fantastic holiday in Bangalore. This was my four days vacation (15th to 18th Oct) - away from work.
* * *
As we booked tickets in Ladies quota, we had good time with our co- passengers (ladies). After a long conversation about (Hyderabad vs. Bangalore, education, job, family) we had our dinner. The "choo chooo" of the train, middle aged women trying to get their children to sleep, Radika slept and me- with a bundle of emotions, thoughts in stark darkness... And that is how I like it. :)

KhAlEjA Review (My View)
I am back with my movie review “KhAlEjA” as I told you in my pervious blog. This is Sandhya and you are reading my blog.
Yesterday I with my frnds (Phani, Rajeev, Akali, Madhav, George, and Yaswanth) watched it. We got tickets from Phani’s frnd who has contacts in BIG CINEMAS (Ameerpet).
Coming to movie:
Mahesh Babu acting is quite different from all his other films …… and he is amazing in his looks and performance throughout the film. He should have stayed clear of bad language and try to dance at least.
Dialogus are top notch, comedy is good in parts. (I enjoyed it.)
Anushka looks ok. Good job by Trivikram (director), the Shafi and Rao Ramesh (artists)
Music by Mani Sharma is average .Songs Pileche & Sada Siva are very good.
The film has no dull moments as such, one can enjoy the movie to the best if you just go as a normal viewer. Overall the movie is above average.
And the movie promotes the brands like:
-- Armani Products
-- Barista
-- Fast Track
-- Gemini TV ( PalleVelugu)
-- MORE supermarket
-- Orange Cabs
-- Pulsar
-- Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM
-- Reebok glasses
-- Thumbs up
-- UniverCell
Oh my God, my Team mate is watching me from behind (Bcoz I didn’t start working and writing some nonsense and other hand watching the Test Match Score on Sky sports. Sachin goes to his 49th Test hundred)That’s it from Sandhya for now…

*RoBo* Review:
Speed 10 tera hz.....memory 10 zeta byte......This is Sandy
Last Saturday (second day), I have watched this movie with my Roommate Radhika and her frnds. We got tickets from Radhika’s frnd’s (Satish) brother – in – law (who is the police) he he he..
Don’t compare RoBo with any Hollywood movies, Just watch it as a Tamil/Telegu movie then u all people will love it.
Movie is good..I really enjoyed watching 1st half of the movie, but somehow second half is little bit boring..they dragged it a lot...
Music by AR Rahman is very good. We can’t accept him to compose Rock and pip pop songs for Super star. Direction and graphics are good. Aish looks gr8. Sankar has done a good work. Rajini Sir done a excellent job at age of 60.
All in all, RoBo is a technically proficient movie and its worth watching
Now I want Toy frnd :’)
For more movie reviews (“KaLeJa “ most wanted movie in the Telugu industry. I am planning to it watch this weekend).

The Supreme Court today began crucial hearing on a plea seeking deferment of the Allahabad High Court verdict on the Ramjanambhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute.
For me it is the common annocument /judgment by Supreme Court like other judgments.
From morning all my well wishers (my parents, roommates, Deepthi, Deepika) were asking me to leave early from office.
I don't know what was wrong with the people and why they were worrying more about it .
I hope the judgment will be neutral. And pray for a peaceful country.

Caught by Traffic Cop
It happened last Saturday while returning from Dev’s treat(He got job In Oracle and he is shifting to Bangalore). We went to restaurant on three bikes (total 9 ,3 persons per bike he he he). I, Deepthi and Susheela on Susheela’ s bike (Hero Honda Activa).
After lunch our tummies were full and Dev’s pocket was nil. We (Deepthi, Susheela and me) started in one bike and George & Madhav on another. I thought of getting down at the Kothaguda junction. When we are near (30-40 feet away) to the Kothaguda signal point .Suddenly a traffic police man caught us in the middle of the road.
Traffic police: “Hye, Stop stop!! Come and Park this side”
Susheela: “We are coming?”
They are few more traffic police men were checking some bike and car riders.
We stared discussing what to do?
Susheela asked me to say " Hye, Sandhya. Tell him that you are not feeling well and we are taking you to hospital."
I know it is silly trick/reason played by everyone. I am just smiling.
Susheela: (Seriously n slowly) “Don’t laugh. Act like you were sick"
Traffic Police: “Why are going triples? Show me your vehicle papers?”
Susheela: “Now, I don't have any? There are at my home”
Traffic Police: “Pay Rs 500 fine. For travelling triples on a bike and not carrying any papers.”
Deepthi: “We have only Rs 300 with us?”
Traffic Police: “I have no issues, but my SIR (head) saw you people. I can't help.”
He left us and went to his SIR and discussed something
I called George and Madhav who are coming on bike (few meters away from us). So that they can convince the Policeman.
The traffic police man came back to us
Traffic Police: “At least du you have Driving Licence?”
Susheela: “Yes Sir :-)”
Traffic Police: “Ok then, you people can go. Don’t drive triples. There are cameras which capture your photos at traffic signals.” (Advice)
We are not charged any fine.
We started (Me in auto and Susheela & Deepthi on bike with smiling faces)
I thought "What a nice Police man!!"
George messaged me saying “It is partiality. The same policeman charged Rs 300 form the people (men) who are travelling triples”.

Trip To Kuntala Waterfalls
Already late in the night and with plans of leaving next day- left packing for later. Saturday passed away with only thoughts of the trip lingering my mind. I went to “Shilparamam” and brought a new dress (long skirt and top). By the time I reached hostel and after dinner- sleepiness crept in, wake up early (3 AM).
4:15: I am in bus
6:00: Hit NH7 - the sun was rising and it was start of a fresh morning love affair with the roads. Passing through lovely scenery comprising of fields on both sides of the road.
Thanks to all my friends who made my trip memorable.
Anyways enjoy the larger sized memories HERE

THOUGHTFUL EXCURSION IN A RAIL...
One day before only I have packed my Luggage (one back bag, one travel bag and all my birthday gifts. I was stuck with lot of work. I have informed my Team Lead that my train is by 7:30. Actually it is at 8:15 :-) so that I can leave early.
5:15: I took leave from my TL
5:45: I reached my room
6:10: I am out from hostel
By the time I reached the main road. It was fully blocked with plp, their luggage and vehicles. I requested the girls (who are also waiting for an auto to station) “Can I share auto with you?"
6:30: We got into an Auto
He charged Rs 220. In normal days it is Rs 120.
6:50: We are below the Begumpet flyover
7:20: We are still at same place (due to traffic jam)
Mean while I got calls my Dad, Bhargav, Deepthi, and Radika.
8:00: I am at station
The police didn’t allow the Auto guy to stop before the station gate (To avoid traffic jam)
8:05: I am in Secunderabad Railway station.
The screen displays my train 2740/VSKP GARIB RATH on 9th platform
I cursed myself (luggage), stupid traffic, train driver while walking from 1st to 9th platform. I got calls from my Mom, my sister, my Dad, Bhargav, Deepthi.
8:12: I am in my coach.G14
My mobile showed me 8 missed calls. Deepthi called me and asked “Where are you? Wat is ur coach number and breath number? I am in 9th platform at G7.I got Tiffin for you.” Actually she has train at 8:50.
8:15: My train started
I was tried and in very irritation mood bcoz of my co passenger (villain face 25+ age guy) behavior who asked me stupid questions “Where are you going? Are u alone? What are you doing? Where is your house?”
Deepthi called me and told “I gave your Tiffin packet and water bottle to some passenger (stranger) in G10.I told your name, coach no and breath no. He will give you”. The signal got cut. I wonder how she can ask an unknown person to give Tiffin to me and. why she is more concern about my dinner. I felt very happy and lucky to have frnd like her.
8:45: I heard some one enquiring my name “Sandhyarani”
I collected my Tiffin packet and water bottle and thanked him a lot. The packet contains Puri with coconut chutney Deepthi know that I like Puri. I called her back.
Thank God for giving me caring frnds :-) :-)

Am I a $hopaholic???
A box full of earrings is the minimum requirement for round face and a shelf full of sandal for a long banana feet like yours truly who slips like a chesses in a burger {ummm … never mind the example}.
And how can one possibly survive without a proper count of leggings, especially when the rate and method of washing by me comes under a section called DON’Ts.
They suffer from a variety of life-threatening diseases like the notorious Rainbow syndrome – a phenomenon when the Kurtis decide to exchange color with salwars leading to dispersal of 16 million colors across 2 meters of cloth.
And when one is subjected to uncountable beautifully lined shops of Fancy items in Central or :D the adorable dresses sold by adorable guys in Ameerpet Market or :P the fashionable kurtis welcoming in glass shelves outside Pantaloons or colorful ballerinas and bubble tops daring you to buy them in Abids market … how can one be stone hearted enough to walk away without a second glance. Knees go weak … violins starts playing … and tiny multicolored butterflies start fluttering by whenever I see these heavenly creations made by humans…
My debit card (I don’t have credit card, to control shopping) has this tendency to automatically pop out as soon as I step into market zone. Maybe the companies should chart new schemes for on-the-way-to-being-a-shopaholic customers.

OH GROWS Up??
Do we really need to grow up? Ask me...I hate growing up. Sometimes I feel I haven't achieved anything becoming so big.
These are the few things which I STILL

* I still play hide & seek with my colony friends aged 7-10!
* I still buy balloons and paper windmills when I spot them on the road!
* I still love sleeping on my grand mum’s lap.
* I still love my mom feeding me every time I fuss to eat.
* I still love playing caroms and whine about not winning a game!

* I still bet on the silliest of issues! [Yesterday I gave Ice-cream to Radika]

When I born, I black
When I grow up, I black
When I go in Sun, I black
When I scared, I black
When I sick, I black
And when I die, I still black
And you white fellow
When you born, you pink
When you grow up, you white
When you go in sun, you red
When you cold, you blue
When you scared, you yellow
When you sick, you green
And when you die, you grey
And you calling me colored?

Happy Friendship Day
Birthday gift for my Sister
I thought of sending a birthday gift to my sister which is on 3rd Aug, I browsed few sites for online gift delivery to Vizag. None of them were interesting. I left early (6 pm) from my office. Deepthi accompanied me in doing shopping. Every Thursday Deepthi will be doing fasting. Before we getting into a bus we had two plates of mirchi bajji and started our way to SR nagar.
After a 45 mins of journey we reached “Greet well" at SR nagar. It is very small shop with good collection of soft toys and greeting cards. It has taken two hours to complete our shopping. I brought a cute brown Teddy, box of Ferrero Rocher Chocolates for my sister, greeting card and few friendship bands for my friends. Bcoz, Aug 1st is the friendship day.
When the time we got out from the shop it was drizzling. Saying bye- bye to Deepthi at her hostel. I got into an Auto. The driver played songs from Aawara film. Yuvan Shankar Raja, the music director has composed beautiful songs. In such melody of quiet night, my mind is calm and my heart strolled along with the cool breeze and rain. I just love it when rain drops falls into my face. ...

The Finger Bowl
According to the account, Queen Victoria was once at a diplomatic reception in London . The guest of honor was an African chieftain. All went well during the meal until, at the end, finger bowls were served. The guest of honor had never seen a British finger bowl, and no one had thought to brief him beforehand about its purpose. So he took the bowl in his two hands, lifted it to his mouth, and drank its contents down!
For an instant there was breathless silence among the British privilege guests, and then they began to whisper to one another. All that stopped; however, when Queen Victoria silently took her finger bowl in her two hands, lifted it, and drank its contents! A moment later, 500 surprised British ladies and gentlemen simultaneously drank the contents of their own finger bowls.
It was the queen’s uncommon courtesy that guarded her guest from certain embarrassment.
This is a very rare but very effective human trait which only true leaders can demonstrate!
While the most common human trait is to look for chances to humiliate someone else or be neutral when they make a mistake, it takes presence of mind, uncommon courtesy to follow someone else’s mistake in order to guard them from embarrassment!
